Exploring Outback NSW #ilovensw
The beauty of the vast Outback landscapes has been something that I have yet to experience up until last week when I visited Broken Hill with Destination NSW. Broken Hill is located in Far West NSW about 1150 kilometres west of Sydney. It is a town surrounded by vast desert vistas and incredibly clear blue skies. I spent a few days exploring in Outback NSW and visited places like Silverton, Menindee Lakes and Day Dream Mine. I had an amazing time experiencing the Outback for my first time. I’ll never forget how the colours of the landscapes change in the outback during golden hour, the colours were truly magical. I am already itching to get back to photograph the stars in the Outback on my next visit. The locals have told me about how clearly you can see the stars and night sky when the conditions are right, as there is very minimal light pollution from cities in Outback NSW and I have no doubt it would be an amazing sight to see.
There is just so much to see and explore in NSW, I feel like I have only scratched the surface of places to visit in NSW. Especially after just returning from a place such as the Outback with immense landscapes. It’s one of the main reasons that I love NSW. I don’t think I could ever run out of locations to photograph!
Over the past couple of weeks I have been sharing my favourite NSW holiday experiences for #ilovensw on social media. Below is a selection of images from my favourite NSW experiences in Outback NSW.
